Iran’s Supreme Leader’s Anti-Semitic Cartoon

Ayatollah Khamenei thinks the “Zionist regime” rigs American elections, unlike Iran’s free ones. Yeah, we should totally let him get nukes.

Today, the people of Iran go to the polls to choose from a list of approved candidates for president, one that has been carefully curated to ensure that the ultimate victor is not too anti-establishment, too Jewish or too female. To mark the occasion, the country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, took to Facebook to do his part for the national Get Out the Vote campaign, posting this inspiring cartoon:

From this witty pictorial we can learn two things: first, that international sanctions have hit Iran so hard that its graphic designers have been forced to downgrade from Photoshop to Microsoft Paint. And second, that there are absolutely no compelling reasons to be apprehensive about the Iranian regime acquiring nuclear weapons. After all, does Khamenei sound like the sort of person who would use them irresponsibly? Perish the thought.
