Caleb Jacoby, the Brookline, MA teen missing since Monday, was found in New York City’s Times Square on Thursday. Caleb, the 16-year-old son of prominent Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby, had been last seen leaving for Maimonides School on Monday. The 11th grader’s disappearance had sparked a massive volunteer effort, with 200 residents searching the Boston suburb.

“Our prayers have been answered. We are thrilled to hear from the Brookline Police that our beloved son Caleb has been found and is safe,” Jacoby tweeted Thursday night.
