Morrissey To Play Two Concerts in Israel

The end of summer can be a drag. Between school preparations and putting all your white, linen clothing back into the closet, the coming of autumn can serve as a sobering reminder of, like, real life. Luckily for Israelis, someone’s coming to cheer them up this August amid all that horrible, year-round Mediterranean sun.

Merry musician Morrissey, the former frontman of The Smiths, will be playing two shows in Israel—his first there since 2012—to commemorate the 30th anniversary of The Smiths’ beloved album The Queen is Dead. Now 57, he’ll play Heichal HaTarbut in Tel Aviv on August 22, with a second show scheduled for the Caesarea amphitheatre two days later.
