Paris Hilton Receives Anti-Semitic Death Threats

Of all the things Paris Hilton has been accused of being, “Jewish” isn’t particularly high on the list. But the socialite-turned-actress (!) has apparently been receiving death threats from a man convinced she’s a member of the Tribe.

According to celebrity website TMZ, the man is targeting Hilton and her father Rick with disturbing messages that read “KILL JEWS FOR FUN,” as well as “I know ur Jew family gives nothing.” He also threatened sexual violence against the eldest Hilton daughter.

The Hiltons, as far as we—and Wikipedia—know, are Roman Catholics, though sister Nicky is engaged to Jewish banking heir James Rothschild. (Paris reportedly dabbled in Kabbalah after her 2004 break-up with former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter.)

The LAPD has a search warrant for the social media accounts linked to the troubling messages, and have said they think they know who’s behind the threats.
