New Yorkers who can never get enough of Jerry Seinfeld are in luck because now they can leave their homes in between binge-watching sessions of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and Seinfeld, and watch their beloved comedian perform stand-up live—and nearby—once every month in the new year ahead.
On Monday, Seinfeld announced a residency called Jerry Seinfeld: The Homestand, beginning January 2016, at Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre, which is owned by the Madison Square Garden Company. During the press conference, Seinfeld, who will perform once a month beginning January 7, was greeted by Knicks great Walt Frazier and Mets all-timers John Franco and Doc Gooden. (Franco was apparently the first buyer.)
Tickets, which begin at $79 a pop, go on sale December 7 at 10 a.m. Better get them before someone else does.
