Sing It
Huppah Dreams

Each Monday, we choose the most interestingly Jewish announcement from that Sunday’s New York Times Weddings/Celebrations section. This week, it’s that of Melissa Enson and Jonathan Wachman, Tulane grads (though not the only ones featured) from Bethany, Conn., and Scarsdale, NY, respectively. Their union certainly qualifies as both interesting and Jewish, since the couple was married by Cantor Kerry Ben-David, a former opera singer.
The bride, who has a master’s in elementary education, is an executive assistant at a New York-based organization that develops pharmaceutical products for use in underdeveloped countries. Wachman works as a dealer at his family’s Greenwich Village art and antique gallery, Charles Cheriff Galleries. Mazel tov to the happy couple!
