Steven Spielberg is looking to sell the East Hampton getaway he bought for $20 million in 2008—except this time there’s no house on the waterfront property, and it costs $24.5 million. The director tore down the original home (built in 1900, sad face) after he bought it, and never built anything in its place, the New York Post reports, making the “E.T. sell home” joke themselves so you don’t have to.

The 3.2 acre lot is one of several properties Spielberg owns in the area, the others of which presumably have houses on them.

Spielberg has been busy lately, signing on not only to direct something called Robopocalypse, but also to produce a film about the fascinating true story of Edgardo Mortara, a 6-year-old Italian Jewish boy seized by church authorities in 1858 who becomes a Catholic priest. The movie is an adaptation of David Kertzer’s 1998 book The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara, for which Tony Kushner will write the screenplay.
