A little public service announcement: Next week, in collaboration with Mile End Deli and ABC Home, Tablet will be presenting an event on the future of Jewish food.
It will be held in Manhattan on October 13, so if you’re not local, now is your chance to proposition your favorite NYC mishpocha for a spot on the couch (or make a romantic weekend out of it, nu?).
A peak at the schedule, featuring an all-star line-up:
5:30 – 6:00: Schmoozing & Drinks
6:00 – 7:00: An Argument For Traditional Jewish Foods In The Modern Jewish Home
Featuring: Gail Simmons, author of Talking with My Mouth Full
Mitchell Davis, Vice President of The James Beard Foundation
Jordana Rothman, editor of Food & Drink at Time Out New York
Josh Ozersky, food columnist at Time Magazine
Moderator: Joan Nathan, cookbook author and host of Jewish Cooking in America
7:00 – 8:00: Looking Ahead From Behind The Counter
