Tablet is now six years old!

To celebrate we’re bringing back some of our favorite stories and (if we do say so ourselves) utterly charming conversations from Vox Tablet, our award-winning podcast, which has been around in one form or another for a decade! In that time, we’ve produced nearly 500 episodes, and have covered everything from a bona fide seltzer aficionado, to her excellency Madonna, and the Jewish starlets of Bollywood. Our rich audio archive also features interviews with novelist Michael Chabon on The Yiddish Policeman’s Union, food writer Claudia Roden on the aromas of her Egyptian childhood, and Silver Jews’ frontman David Berman.

And so, over the next month, the Tablet daily newsletter (subscribe here!) will feature one of these terrific podcasts. Enjoy it, whether for the first time or the 21st. And be sure to subscribe to Vox Tablet on iTunes, Stitcher, Soundcloud or any other podcast carrier. (Access the entire Vox Tablet archive here.) As you listen, please share your favorites with us on Twitter and Facebook by using the hashtag #VoxVault.

To kick off the fun, we present a story that combines Christina Aguilera, the writer Janice Erlbaum, and her lounge-singing Aunt Linda.
