Notoriously private filmmaker opens up in documentary, says Annie Hall just “okay”

Ever wanted to know what goes on inside the mind of Woody Allen but never knew how (or who) to ask? Here’s your chance for the ultimate look at the spotlight-averse Allen. An upcoming documentary will show a new side of everyone’s favorite filmmaker, as the 75-year-old opens up to PBS in a rare media appearance.
The two-part documentary, airing November 20 and 21 as part of the 25th season of the PBS documentary series American Masters, will include clips of Allen’s comedy performances from the 1960s as well as footage from some of his films with insight from Allen himself.
