Daybreak: Final Polls Show Narrow Bibi Win

• In the last polls before the Israelis cast their ballots Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud-Beiteinu superparty is currently tracking at 32 seats, the lowest number yet for the group, but apparently just enough to form a majority with a coalition of right-wing and religious parties. [Reuters]

• The involvement of the French military in efforts against Islamists in Mali have raised safety concerns among France’s Jews–who were already nervous to begin with. [JTA]

• Ron Nachman, mayor of the massive West Bank settlement Ariel, has died at age 70. Nachman served as a Member of Knesset in the 13th Knesset led by Yitzhak Rabin. [Times of Israel]

• Aaron Keyak has been named the interim director of the National Jewish Democratic Council. [JTA]

• A new art exhibition takes a look at the photographs of Allen Ginsberg, who often snapped pictures of his friends and fellow Beatniks in the 1950s. [NYT]
