• The settlement freeze expired … the Palestinians did not announce they were departing the direct talks … there likely won’t be major building … we all still seem to be here … . [NYT]

• He also gave some of it over to chastising Iranian President Ahmadinejad for having said, “The majority of the American people, as well as most nations and politicians around the world, agree with this view,” “this view” being that some parts of the U.S. government had a hand in 9/11. [LAT]

• Nine Jewish activists from America, Israel, Britain, and elsewhere departed Turkish-controlled Cyprus for Gaza in a flotilla reprise. [Reuters/NYT]

    Nine Jewish Activists. Instead of all this posturing, if the activists have real feelings for the Gazans, why don’t they persuade the latter and their rulers (Hamas) to stop all armed activity against Israel – then, in due course, the blocade would be dropped. Their headline grabbing posturing shows that they don’t have the heavy responsibility of ensuring the safety of Israeli citizens – and that they don’t live under Hamas rockets.

    the media and only the media is converting useless “news”-garbage like “nine jewish activists” into a piece of a stinky “news”. Lets imagine if the media wouldn’t mention this garbage…what would could happen? yes, less talk, less attention, less wasted space and energy, and less anti-Israeli garbage.

    WHY this magazine mentions this garbage?????

    is it to create more and more talk, and more “discussions”, more antisemitism??
    what is the real policy of this magazine?
    I can guess, to create more attention to itself and to become on of the online publication, which means MONEY. GREED.
    Yes, the final goal of every single publication regardless of their motives is MONEY.
    So, everything Tablet writes has one goal: money.
    And you know what..? Thanks G-D that not a single Israeli knows about Tablet and hope nobody will ever know…because 90% of Israelis DO NOT care about tablet, do not care about every single magazine that exists. There are more than plenty Hebrew magazines and that’s what we read and trust and enjoy.
    Every Israeli magazine and newspaper online and off-line is far more superior to every american publication, including this one. bye.
