Friedman is really just advocating peaceful protests, isn’t he, along the lines of what we’ve seen elsewhere in the region. He, and many others, have recommended as much for years, to no avail.

Does Milbank have any evidence at all to support his statement about Netanyahu’s expanding settlements? It’s actually just the opposite, but why let facts get in the way of perfectly good assumptions.

I don’t understand the basis for Friedman’s reputation other
than the fact, his rubbish is published in the NYTimes. As long as he was a reporter (like in Beirut during the civil
war) his articles were readable. His political analyzes and
commentaries are mostly poppycock.
