North African Jewish pop music from before World War II has its roots in pre-Inquisition Spain. Singer and composer Jewlia Eisenberg creates a new sound with her band Charming Hostess that builds on this Andalusian style. With music by Reinette l’Oranaise and Alice Fitoussi.
