The Best of Unorthodox in 2015
Featuring never-before-aired segments and memorable moments with Simon Doonan, Bat Sheva Marcus, Dave Hill, and more
It’s been quite a year for Unorthodox! We started the podcast in July as part of Slate’s Panoply network and since then have discussed everything from Drake to Bernie Sanders (and cats), hosted live shows in New Haven, Connecticut, and Washington, D.C., and featured some of the smartest, most entertaining guests around.
In celebration of our first five months, we’ve put together a compilation of some of our favorite moments, featuring guests like Simon Doonan, comedian Dave Hill, lexicographer Erin McKean, writer Dan Savage, sex therapist Bat Sheva Marcus, and Tablet’s own Marjorie Ingall and Esther Werdiger, plus a few never-before-aired moments from our demo episode.
Happy New Year from your friends at Unorthodox. As always, send comments, complaints, and New Year’s resolutions to [email protected].
Unorthodox is a smart, fresh, fun weekly take on Jewish news and culture hosted by Mark Oppenheimer, Stephanie Butnick, and Liel Leibovitz. You can listen to individual episodes here or subscribe on iTunes.
