Ep. 221: Jesse Eisenberg returns to the show to talk about playing Marcel Marceau in the new film ‘Resistance’
This week on Unorthodox, the hosts catch up from their home studios and discuss the latest News of the Jews in this strange new world.
Actor and writer Jesse Eisenberg returns to the show to discuss his two new movies out this week, Resistance and Vivarium. He tells us about playing a young Marcel Marceau saving Jewish children in France during the Holocaust in Resistance, visiting Dachau with his 2-year-old son during filming, and how he’s been coping with being cooped up these past few weeks. You can watch Resistance on Video on Demand starting March 27.
We know that many of you are daunted by the prospect of suddenly having to host a Seder, possibly for the very first time. To help ease your way into it, we’re launching a daily Zoom tutorial called Seder Academy at 4 p.m. Eastern each day. We’ll be offering ideas, recipes, and inspiration, and taking your questions about Passover prep in these strange times. Join us for the first installment, Thursday, March 25, at 4 p.m. EDT, and every afternoon until Passover, at: bit.ly/tabletsederacademy.
Our tour events for March and April 2020 have been postponed. Stay tuned for updates on rescheduled dates, and join our Facebook group to see much more of us, virtually, in the coming weeks.
