Tammy’s Passover-the-Granola

  • cup butter, melted
  • cup honey mixed in with butter
  • 1pound whole wheat matzo farfel
  • 3teaspoons cinnamon
  • A pinch or two nutmeg
  • 1 ½cups almonds, chop after measure
  • 1 ⅓cups raisins


  • Step 1

    Mix dry ingredients first, then add butter/honey mixture and mix well, so all the farfel is coated.

  • Step 2

    Spread evenly on two cookie sheets.

  • Step 3

    Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, stir, then 10 more minutes, until golden.

  • Note: Mix in raisins after granola is baked, while it is still warm.

    (You can replace raisins and nuts with chocolate chips)

  • Step 4

    Store in an airtight container.
