Empire Kosher, the country’s largest kosher poultry vendor [1], is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, and to tout its new and improved chicken nuggets, the company decided to make the world’s biggest chicken nugget—and succeeded [2].

They unveiled the hefty creation this week at Kosherfest [3], the world’s largest annual trade show for certified kosher products, which is celebrating its own 25th anniversary (Nextbook, Tablet’s predecessor, headed to the convention [4] back in 2006, recording a lively podcast about the ensuing sensory overload).

The mega-nugget clocked in at 51.1 pounds, measuring a little more than 3.25 feet by 2 feet—the size of 720 nugget-sized nuggets. It required 2.5 pounds (pounds!) of breading and took six people three hours to make it. It takes a village.
