Did you hear the one about the Jewish housewife from Passaic who discovered the Shirelles, not to mention Dionne Warwick, the Isley Brothers, and Burt Bacharach? Yeah, we didn’t think so. Her name was Florence Greenberg, she was no joke, and, as you’ll hear from music critic Jody Rosen on tomorrow’s edition of Vox Tablet, it is thanks to her pop instincts and business savvy that we have such great karaoke options as “Louie, Louie,” “Say a Little Prayer for You,” and “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.”
