Katz’s Delicatessen, that iconic New York City pastrami institution, has more than just a new egg cream-scented candle to celebrate. A New York City court ruled that an unrelated food truck billing itself as ‘Katz & Dogz’ must change its name to sound less like its affiliated with the deli. They also have to scrub the searching question, “Are you ready for the Reuben Orgasm?” from the side of the truck, GrubStreet reports.
The food truck has selected the somewhat less thrilling moniker ‘Deli & Dogz’ as its new name. The lesson here seems to be, ‘You mess with the bull, you get the pastrami horns.’ Or just don’t mess with Katz’s.
