Video: With exit polls predicting surprises, Jerusalemites explained who they voted for in today’s election—and why

While Americans have two candidates to choose from in national elections, Israelis vote for a party—and in today’s election for the 19th Knesset, there were 19 choices. We visited two polling places in Jerusalem to hear directly from voters, who were motivated by a diverse set of priorities: bombing Iran, legalizing marijuana, separating synagogue and state, sticking it to President Obama, and protecting the middle class. Watch this video and hear who Israelis voted for—and why—and who they wish had been on the ballot.
