While Americans have two candidates to choose from in national elections, Israelis vote for a party—and in today’s election for the 19th Knesset, there were 19 choices. We visited two polling places in Jerusalem to hear directly from voters, who were motivated by a diverse set of priorities: bombing Iran, legalizing marijuana, separating synagogue and state, sticking it to President Obama, and protecting the middle class.
