Pinto. Weiner. They Fight Crime.

Our favorite shady Rabbi is back in a new political thriller.

The (most recent) scandal surrounding Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, the likely next Israel chief Sephardic Rabbi and adviser to Lebron James, among others, in which he accused two former aides, Ronn Torossian and Ofer Biton of swindling him has expanded into politics with the FBI telling media that it was opening an investigation into whether Biton funneled cash illegally into the campaign of U.S. Rep. Michael Grimm.

And then there’s a new wrinkle, in order to make this story perfect. Anthony Weiner, a Pinto follower (yes, that Anthony Weiner) has emerged from exile in order to tell the world that Pinto complained to the then congressman in 2010—a time when we were blissfully ignorant of his underwear—that Grimm was extorting money from the rabbi. And that he, Weiner, had informed the FBI. The FBI has confirmed this. Also, Grimm is a former FBI agent. Yowza.

Phew. Religion. Politics. Money. Sex. Corruption. FBI. A disgraced congressman and another under attack. A shady rabbi. This is going to be the best episode of Law & Order ever.
