• The border between Israel and Syria in the Golan continues to heat up with various exchanges of gunfire between IDF troops and Syrian forces. It’s the first time Syria says it deliberately targeted Israeli forces. In a separate incident, an Israeli soldier in the engineer corps was killed while working in a minefield. [Reuters]
