Yoav Fromer reports legitimate Israeli fears that the hundreds of millions of dollars in weaponry the United States has given to Lebanon’s central governmetn could be used directly against Israel or even fall into the wrong (see: Hezbollah’s) hands. In his weekly haftorah column, Liel Leibovitz summons Isaiah to condemn the wickedness of the Israeli decision to deport 400 children on the grounds of illegal immigration.
